Some of the most beautiful nights are when the moon is full or nearly full, and
it rises in the evening. When this happens, it appears to come up out of the lake,
first as dark red, then as it rises it softens to orange, yellow and then white. The sky needs to be at least partly clear to see this, and
if it is completely clear it is even more SPECTACULAR.
All of the dates below are good dates to view this. 100% illumintaed indicates that
it is technically the full moon on that day. We suggest that you schedule your sail to depart at least 15 minutes
before moonrise, and return no earlier than 30 minutes after moonrise.
